“ First time at a Pecking Duck Restaurant, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. We ordered the Classic and a large bowl of chicken and corn soup. Soup came out nice and hot but the Classic came out a little longer, not an issue. Serving was good for two. We were given two stacks of pancakes with maybe about 10 each, with spring onion, cucumber and sweet bean sauce which was enough to devour our meal. All in all a great place to dine and the staff were very nice. A definate place to check out. ”

“ Great Peking Duck! This place serves great value, and regardless of the price, their dishes are all prepared from the heart. Each dish arrived on our table hot and fresh, and some of the dishes tasted like how grandma's secret recipe would taste. I read some reviews regarding their lack of service/attention but our experience was perfectly normal and we did find the chef to be quite sociable. The hot and sour soup is a strong recommendation but I did find their giant meet ball a bit salty. ”
“ I tried all Peking Duck in GTA and I think this is one of the best. The owner is from Beijing, he worked in famous Peking Duck restaurant before, so he knows what he is doing. Duck is amazing, the wrap is thin (which is hard to find in Toronto) and the dipping sauce is a bomb! The restaurant is tiny, it’s better to book a table couple days before. ”
“ A great authentic Beijing restaurant. We ordered duck broth baby cabbage, deep fried eggplant, Peking duck rolls and a soup. The Peking duck rolls is a good alternative if there’s not enough people to share the whole duck. I’d still recommend the whole duck cuz you can make your own wrap. All of them were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Would def recommend for authentic Beijing cuisine. ”
“ We do not visit this area often so we never had a chance to visit after it sits on my starred list for a while. We finally get to try it after a badminton game nearby and we are so glad we made the trip. The Peking duck was delicious and freshly prepared and we enjoyed our 2nd dish as a duck soup. (We usually go for the lettuce wrap but it was so cold that night the soup is a better choice! ) Would highly recommend I’d you are area and in the mood for some Peking duck. Definitely much better value than the other brand name places further up north. ”
“ The very best thing about Peking Duck Kitchen is chef and owner Jin. Jin has been in Canada since 1996 hailing from Beijing. Jin always has a smile and is so willing to chat about his food, politics, just about anything. Jin also knows his duck. He makes it the traditional Northern Chinese way which includes; cleaning, freezing, thawing, roasting, glazing.... the entire process takes about 3 days. What does this mean to you? Only the most rich duck meat with super low fat and lacquered skin. Jin serves duck a ton of different ways and he will tell you what he thinks you need and never over sells. One of my favourite parts is the crispy skin dusted in sugar. Just a small but delicious nibble. We also tried his Congee like soup made with a spatzle noodle, Dan Dan noodles, egg and beef on rice, and a 6 hour duck broth. “ This is the most legit Peking duck place in Toronto/Scarborough. I especially liked the sugar that came with the duck skin, as well as the heating candle below the plate of duck. They give you enough wrapping rolls too, so you don't have to worry about running out of them. Definetely looking forward to going back again! ”
